The following seven sequence pictures are for a large, multi-family slab in Hawaii, one of six that were built with Wafflemat on the site. Three quick notes:

– Forms-Waffleboxes-cables-concrete was Monday to Thursday, four days cycletime. The slab was post-tensioned two days later, followed the next week by vertical construction.

– Concrete for the first half of the slab (u-shaped footprint about 10, 500 sf total) was estimated at 151 yards. The actual was 152, a variance of less than 1%.

– The concrete company was scheduled to pour half the slab Thursday, as this was their first time working with Wafflemat, and thought they might go long into the day.

They finished at 11:15am.
